Jo Jennings was truly one-of-a-kind!

As she continued to tell us, “I have lived a full and complete life. I have had an amazing and wonderful marriage that gave me two beautiful children and grandchildren. I have made friends that lasted a lifetime. I have traveled to faraway places and had many adventures that most dream of. I have been able to live out my dream of creating things that make others smile. I have NO regrets. I wouldn’t do anything different if given a second chance.”

She learned to create jewelry at the age of 13 with her mom and she never stopped creating. She treasured the thought that she was creating something that would bring joy and memories for generations. She created for 75+ years and loved every minute of it.

There was always a smile on her face and she was always trying to make others smile too. She was always positive and encouraging. She treasured spending time with family and friends and always made the most of those moments.

She leaves this world with the knowledge that she made a difference. She made it brighter, more interesting, and most of all….fun! She summed up the life she led by the post it she put on her lamp for all to see.

It said, “I LOVE ALL OF YOU SO MUCH. Jo”

Obituary

Jo Jennings passed away peacefully at her home on June 25,2026. She was born on May 24, 1938, in Flint, Michigan, to Zoal and Ann Albrecht. Jo was 88 years old and left this world

surrounded by love and the cherished memories of a life well lived.

Jo’s family moved to Texas where she later met Pat Jennings. They were married on April 25, 1958, and celebrated 68 wonderful years of marriage.

Jo is survived by her husband, Pat; children, Lesa and husband Russell Hayen, and Rusti and wife Shelly Jennings; grandchildren, Amanda Martin and Alexis Luoma and their

husbands; and many great and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Joel and wife Sunny Albrecht and their families. She was preceded in death by her

parents and all of her immediate in-laws.

Jo started her professional career drawing guided missiles for Chance Vought and worked with Marvin Springer being one of the first to map Stemmons Freeway. However, it was her

passion for jewelry making, a craft she fell in love with at the age of 13, that truly defined her artistic spirit. For 75 years, Jo created stunning, one-of-a-kind 14K gold jewelry, each piece

a testament to her creativity and dedication.

Jo Jennings will forever be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and artistry. Her legacy of love and creativity will continue to inspire all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the beauty she cherished.
